Introduced in 1961, reference 3445 has a unique importance as Patek Philippe’s first self-winding wristwatch that was produced in series with a date function. This present example belongs to the earliest of a total of three series, which were produced over the course of two decades.
Stylistically, reference 3445 embodies Patek Philippe’s unmatched ability to create a striking design through simplicity and perfectly balanced proportions. The condition of the subtly textured original dial and the angled multiple facets of these case lugs is excellent.
Ticking within the 35mm case, sporting its signature waterproof back, is the high-grade movement caliber 27-460M. It features an 18k gold rotor and the coveted Poinçon de Genève quality mark.
