Few other models of the 30’s and 40’s incorporate facets so well and to such an extent. The playfulness of reflecting surfaces seems to be the main theme of this Art Deco example – from the brilliance of the gold-set diamonds to the reflections of the crystal’s three facets. The sculptural quality of the lugs and the overall geometric lines are classic Art Deco. The slightly curved and elongated rectangular case, measuring 41mm x 21mm, hugs the wrist comfortably.

Ticking inside the elegant case is the in-house movement caliber 980, which was shared by some of Hamilton’s most iconic models. As further testament to this mechanism’s quality and longevity is the fact that it was produced for almost two decades, from 1934 on.
